Chicken parts, washed and dried
Garlic salt
Black pepper
Self-rising flour
Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sprinkle chicken generously with garlic salt and pepper. Let set, covered, in fridge, several hours.

2. In skillet, heat enough Crisco to cover chicken halfway. Coat chicken pieces with self-rising flour and put in hot oil. Turn often, until pieces are golden brown, about 1/2 hr.
