1 1/2 pounds uncooked beef roast
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon onion powder (not salt)

Directions:
Partially freeze meat. Slice thinly trimming away fat. Combine all other ingredients and pour over meat in a shallow glass container. Marinate overnight. Remove meat from marinade. Place on rack in oven so air can circulate around slices. Cook at lowest oven temp for about 12 hours or until all areas of meat are thoroughly dried. If using a dehydrator, set temperature at 150 degrees or lower. Store in an airtight container.
