4 Tbsp cocoa
1 cup water
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour,
2 cups sugar,
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. buttermilk (add 1 tsp. soda to buttermilk)
2 eggs,
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
4 Tbsp. cocoa,
6 Tbsp milk
1 stick butter:
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 box powdered sugar,
1 cup pecans

Preparation:
Grease and flour a 15X10X1-inch or jelly roll pan. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon; set aside.
In a medium saucepan combine 4 T cocoa, 1 cup of water, and 2 sticks of butter. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. With an electric hand-held mixer on medium speed, beat chocolate mixture into the dry mixture until thoroughly blended. Add buttermilk, eggs, Pour warm chocolate frosting over the warm cake, spreading evenly. and vanilla. Beat for 1 minute (batter will be thin). Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Frosting:
In a medium saucepan combine 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 6 tablespoons milk, and 1 stick of butter. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add 1 box confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until smooth. If desired, stir in 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans.
