6 slices bread, crust off
1 lb. bulk sausage
2 cups grated cheddar
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
Ham, bacon, onions, garlic, broccoli, bell peppers optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage and drain. Set aside. Cut off bread crusts and then cut bread into small pieces. Place in large bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, and salt. Add to bread and stir, until bread is completely mixed in. Fold in sausage and grated cheddar cheese. Pour in to greased casserole dish or baking pan. Bake 45 min. at 350º.

When I beat together eggs, milk and bread, I use my electric mixer on high for about a minute, also I use the big cookie sheet with sides from Costco lined with parchment paper. I bring this to Christmas morning and its a great addition to breakfast.
