2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water or I use cold coffee
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/4 cup unsweetented cocoa powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Frosting
5 tbsp milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups powered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven 350 F
combine flour, sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
In a medium saucepan heat water, oil ,and cocoa powder ,over medium heat bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Pour into flour mixture add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla and salt mix well. Pour into pan.
Frosting, place milk, cocoa powder, and oil in a sauce pan heat until blended. then add powder sugar, and vanilla whisk until smooth pour over cake.
