2 lbs. of lean ground beef
1 (10 oz.) can of diced tomatoes with chilies
15 oz. can of red Kidney beans
15 oz. can of Pinto beans with Jalapeņos
1 package of chili seasoning mix 1.25 oz
1 green bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1/2 red bell pepper
1 yellow onion chopped
salt, pepper, garlic to taste

Brown ground beef on medium heat with salt, pepper,
garlic, onion, red, green yellow bell peppers. Drain any fat. Add package of Chili seasoning and stir until well mixed. Add tomatoes w juice, kidney beans, and pinto beans with juice to meat mixture. Bring to a boil , reduce heat and simmer 1 hr.

For hotter chili add Rotel canned tomatoes with habaneros-it's not as hot as it sounds. Add macaroni for Chili Mac.
You can either use dry beans or canned beans. The result is the same, canned beans have extra salt added, so don't add too much additional salt. If using dry beans, soak the beans in a bowl of water overnight; you will need to soak for 8 to 12 hours to remove dangerous toxins and dirt. Strain, rinse, and place beans in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Drain the beans and set aside.
