1 Stick Oleo (I use butter)
1 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
topping:
1 stick oleo
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts
1 can of coconut

Mix and let stand 20 minutes 1 stick oleo 1 cup oatmeal & 1 1/4 cup boiling water. add next 7 ingredients. Bake in 9 x 16 pan for 30 minutes. Let cool then bring to a boil 1 stick oleo 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Cook 1 minute; add 1 cup nuts and 1 small can of coconut. Pour over cake and broil.
