2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup milk

Sift dry ing. together, work in shortening until flaky. Then add milk, roll, cut and bake from 12-15 minutes in hot oven.

Mom's cookbook doesn't give a lot of directions for some of her recipes. But I know these get rolled out with a rolling pin to about 1/2" thick. Mom would cut with a round cookie cutter.
