2 C. flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 C. butter
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. sour cream
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
4 C. crushed sugared flakes cereal, separated
grated orange or lemon peel, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and baking soda.
Blend together butter, sugar, sour cream, egg, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.
Add 3 C. crushed sugared flakes.
Form walnut size balls and roll in 1 C. remaining sugared flakes.
Bake in 300º oven for 12 minutes on a slightly greased cookie pan. Do not over bake! They should be slightly soft when taken out of the oven.

I used to make these a long time ago and loved them. I lost the recipe, but found it in Grandma Steinnes' recipe box. I remember that I slightly under baked them because they could turn rock hard if over baked.
