3 Tbsp. olive oil
3 Tbsp. butter
1-2 cloves garlic

Add:
16 oz. chopped tomatoes (fresh, frozen, or canned)
1/2 cup dry white wine
Bring to a boil, then simmer 5-10 minutes
Add:
1/2 cup cream or 1/2 and 1/2 (thicken with a little corn starch)
1/2 cup fresh or frozen basil leaves
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add fresh Parmesan cheese
