Beat with an electric mixer 15 - 20 minutes.
4 eggs (at room temperature)
8 Tbsp. sugar

Then slowly beat in 4 Tbsp flour

Bake in 2 round spring pans (do not grease pans)
350 degrees
15 minutes

Egg Creme Filling:
2 Tbsp flour
3 Tbsp sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 egg yolks

Cook on low heat, stir until thickened. Cool in refrigerator.
Blend in approximately 1/2 cup of whipped cream (do not use kool whip)

Directions:

Assemble Cake:with Creme filling between the 2 cake layers.
Top with confectioners sugar and water glaze.

This Norwegian cake came from Norway and is a family favorite. I entered this cake in a food contest and won 1st prize in cake and 1st prize in overall categories. Everyone who tastes it asks for the recipe.
