1 cup sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 c sliced almonds
Chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, and water in a pan. Cover and bring to a slow boil. Remove lid and and add 1/2 c sliced almonds. Cook and stir constantly until mixture boils down and becomes dark and starts to smoke. (It takes high heat and constant stirring.)
Pour onto a cookie sheet.
Spread with chocolate on the hot candy and sprinkle with nuts.
