8-9 quarts of popped popcorn
2 cups brown sugar packed
1 cup butter
½ cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Boil sugar,salt, butter & corn syrup for 5 minutes. 2.Remove from heat and stir in ½ tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar. Mix till foamy and pour over popcorn mixing until well coated.
3.Add nuts of any kind at this time.
4.Place in a well-greased roaster pan and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes.
5.Spread and cool on wax paper.
