1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Stir together dry ingredients and slowly add to creamed mixture. Stir in, by hand, oatmeal, coconut, pecans, and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 350º for 13-15 minutes.
