2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
7/8 cup sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. Baking powder
2/3 cup shortening
1 egg, beaten
3/4 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Add egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder together.
Mix dry ingredients alternating with milk into egg mixture. Set aside.
Mix a second batch adding 6 tablespoons of cocoa and 2 tablespoons of melted butter to the egg mixture.

Roll out both pieces individually to 1/4 inch thick. Lay one on top of the other and roll up like a jelly roll. Chill in refrigerator until very firm. Slice 1/4 inch thick slices and bake on greased cookies sheet in 350ºF oven for 10 minutes.
