Ingredients:  
1 cup flour
1 T sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 T shortening
1/2 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in milk to make soft dough. Stir only still softened.

1/3 cup sugar
1 T cornstarch
1 cup peach juice
2 1/2 cups sliced peaches
1 T butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and mix sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add peach juice and boil for 1 minute. Add sliced peaches. Pour into a baking dish. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Drop batter by spoonful onto fruit. Bake 400º for 30 minutes.
