Tart Shells:
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 c. flour

Filling:
2 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 c. pecans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
For tart shells, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add flour, mix until a soft dough forms. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Preheat over to 350º. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place balls of dough into ungreased mini tart (mini muffin) cups. Press in center of each ball to form a hole for the filling.

For filling, microwave butter for 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Fill each tart shell with filling. Bake 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool in pan 3 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack and cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
