1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder

Mix all ingredients together and simmer for one hour or more until quite thick.

Recipe make about 2 1/2 cups of sauce. Double or triple recipe as needed. Always great. Recipe from good friend, Betty Lundgren. Add a drop or two of liquid smoke if you want a more smokey sauce.
