1 c. butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 packages instant vanilla pudding (small)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugars until well combined. Add eggs, pudding mix and vanilla to butter mixture. Add all dry ingredients until dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes.

Try using different pudding flavors for variety; butterscotch and chocolate turn out well.
