3 slices bacon, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion
1/2 c minced parsley
2 stalks celery, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 large potato, diced
1/2 medium cabbage, sliced
28 oz can tomatoes
1 t basil
1 t salt
15 oz can kidney beans
2 quarts water
2 T beef bouillon
1/2 c dry spaghetti, broken
1 can green beans
2 small zucchini, diced

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, fry bacon thoroughly but not until crisp. Do not drain grease. Add garlic, onion, parsley, celery, carrots, potato and cabbage. Saute for 20-25 minutes, stirring often, until vegetables are tender crisp. Add tomatoes, basil, salt, kidney beans, water and bouillon. Simmer about 45 minutes. add spaghetti, green beans, and zucchini and cook until tender, 10 to 12 minutes.
