8 slices white bread
1 1/2 lb. link sausage
12 eggs
1 tsp.dry mustard
2 c. milk
2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 can evaporated milk (5.3 oz)
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
The day before serving, butter a large casserole dish. Trim the ends of the bread and cut each slice into 4 squares. Line casserole dish with small squares. Cook and drain sausage; cut into bite size pieces. Beat eggs; add sausage, mustard, milk and cheese. Pour over bread squares in casserole dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next day, mix evaporated milk and mushroom soup. Spread over mixture; do not mix. Bake at 300º for 1 1/2 hours.

Yields: 8 servings
