1 lb. of lean ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage
1/4 c. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg beaten
1 clove garlic (optional)
1/2 onion (grated)
1 c.soft, fine bread crumbs
3 T. water
2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
2 T. fat

Directions:
Directions:
Combine into a large mixing bowl. Mix with a fork until blended. Shape the balls to desired size. Preheat fry pan. Melt fat, brown meat balls until brown on all sides. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti. OR prepare meat balls per recipe EXCEPT OMIT Garlic. When browning add 1 can cream of mushroom soup, diluted with an equal amount of milk. Simmer, stirring frequently. Serve over hot, cooked and drained noodles. I've used this with Portabello mushrooms and made beef stroganoff.
