1 lb. navy beans (about 2 cups)
1 lb. bacon, cut into 1" pieces
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1 tablespoon vinegar

Soak 1 lb. of beans overnight in cold water. Drain and place in a 2 quart bean pot. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over beans. Cover and Bake at 300º. Uncover the beans for the last hour. Bake 3 1/2 to 5 hours until beans are soft.
