1 lb lasagna
32 oz Ragu brand meat flavored spaghetti sauce
1 lb ground beef
4 eggs
4 Tbsp. olive oil
4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
dash of nutmeg
dash of salt and pepper
1 lb ricotta cheese
8 oz shredded mozzarella

Brown meat in olive oil. Add spaghetti sauce and cook for 15 minutes. Season to taste. Cook lasagna noodles in 6 qts salted boiling water with 1 Tbsp. olive oil added in it. Cook 12-15 minutes. Mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella, 4 eggs, Parmesan, salt and pepper (to taste), and a dash of nutmeg. In a 9x13" casserole dish, spoon a little bit of sauce on bottom. Put down a layer of noodles and then layer with: 1/2 cheese mixture, noodles, 1/2 meat sauce, noodles, remaining cheese mixture topped with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese liberally over the meat sauce and bake at 375º for 45 minutes.

Yields: 12 servings

Note: Add additional layers if desired.
