Acorn Squash

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cut acorn squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Poke with a fork a couple of times
Lay cut side up on baking sheet. Put 1 tablespoon of butter and half piece of bacon in center, sprinkle with pepper and salt or garlic salt
Place in oven and roast for 35 minutes basting with the melted butter periodically
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes or until tender
Crisp up bacon in microwave or skillet and crumble over squash
Cut into pieces and serve.
