1 qt chopped onions
1 qt ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 qt chopped green tomatoes
1 med cabbage, chopped
4 green bell peppers, chopped
1 pt salt
4 qts water
Vinegar
1 c. all purpose flour
1 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Make brine of 4 qts of water and 1 pt of salt. Pour over chopped vegetables. Let stand overnight. Heat the next morning, just enough to scald, then drain. Mix the last 4 ingredients; flour, sugar, mustard and turmeric. Mix with enough vinegar to make a smooth paste. Then add enough vinegar to make 2 qts. Cook on low heat, until thick, stirring all the time. Add vegetables and cook until well heated, then put into jars and seal.
