2/3 cup butter
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup flour
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Filling: 1 11 1/2 oz pkg (2 cups) Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º Melt butter in medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla and salt; mix well. Drop by level measuring teaspoonfuls, about 3 inches apart onto foil-lined cookie sheets. Spread thin with rubber spatula. Bake 5-7 minutes. Cool. Peel foil away from cookies.

Filling: Melt chocolate chips over hot (not boiling) water; stir until smooth. Spread chocolate on the flat side of half the cookies, top with remaining cookies.

Be sure to let the cookies cool before trying to remove them from the foil, or they will stick. These are also great with dark chocolate or white chocolate.
