2 eggs

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 c. sifted flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 c. chopped walnuts

2 c. finely chopped dates

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture. Stir in walnuts and dates. Spread in well- greased 8" square pan. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes or until top has a dull crust. Cut in squares while warm. Cool before removing from pan.
