2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
12 ounces whipped topping
1 6-ounce package strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 10-ounce packages frozen strawberries

Combine pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar in bowl; mix well. Press into baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes. Cool completely.
Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and whipped topping in bowl; beat until smooth. Spread over pretzel layer.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes. Add frozen strawberries. Cool until syrupy. Spoon over cream cheese layer. Chill until serving time.

This can be made in a short amount of time but cooling the pretzels takes up the time.
To make it even shorter, once I put the gelatin in the hot water, I follow with the strawberries, mix it up and put it on the cream cheese-whipped topping layer and put it in the refrigerator. It always turns out perfect!!
