Poppy Seed Dressing
1/2 c sugar
1 t dry mustard
1 t salt
1/2 cup vinegar (I used champagne vinegar last night, but I have used red wine vinegar in the past. Both are good.)
1 c canola oil
1 1/2 t poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except oil and poppy seeds into a blender. With blender on add a few teaspoons of oil at a time to mix well. Add poppy seeds; stir for a few seconds. Refrigerate Serve over Mandarin Orange Salad
Makes @ 2 Cups

Mandarin Orange Salad
1 can of Mandarin oranges
salad greens
2 apples
1/2 c cranraisins
1/4 to 1/2 c slivered almonds, toasted
crumbled blue cheese
