1 corned beef brisket
1 bottle 1000 island dressing
6-8 swiss cheese slices
1 sm can sauerkraut, drained
1 loaf rye bread

Directions:
Directions:
Cover your brisket with cold water, add seasoning packet and bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Cover, lower the heat and simmer for 3 hours. Turn off the heat and let it sit in the pot for 30 minutes. Slice thinly against the grain.

For each sandwich, butter the outer sides of two slices of rye bread like a grilled cheese. Spread dressing on both inner sides of the bread. Inside the sandwich, layer corned beef slices, swiss cheese and kraut. Toast both buttered sides in a shallow skillet until golden brown.
