3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup butter (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly. Add other ingredients and mix well.

Pour in plain pastry and bake 45 minutes in stow oven 300 degrees or until done. chill before cutting.

Serve warm with cool whip or ice cream or just eat plain.

The secret is fresh pecans and we always add more than the cup it calls for.
