1 1/2 c. raw peanuts (must be raw for this recipe)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
1) In a 1 1/2 qt. microwave-safe container, stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt. Microwave on high for 4 minutes, remove from oven and stir. Return to oven an microwave on high for 4 more minutes.
2) Remove from oven, stir in butter and vanilla. Return to oven and microwave on high 2 minutes more.
3) Remove from oven; add soda and stir until smooth and a medium brown color. Immediately pour onto a lightly greased baking sheet or marble slab. When cool break into pieces.
