Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. of Brussels sprouts;
3/4 a stick of unsalted butter (approx.);
1 tsp. of caraway seeds; and
salt, to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
1) Wash the Brussels sprouts, removing any unfolded leaves and trimming the stems to remove discoloration. Once washed and trimmed, cut the Brussels sprouts in half along the stem.

2) In a large skillet, melt about 3/4 a stick of unsalted butter over med heat. Slightly more or less butter may be used; there must be just enough butter in the skillet to thoroughly coat and brown the sprouts. Once the butter has melted, add the Brussels sprouts cut side down, and allow the cut sides to lightly brown. The browning should happen in a minute or two; this step should be closely monitored to prevent scorching. Once the cut sides of the sprouts have browned, reduce the heat to medium-low, and continue sauteing the sprouts for about three to five minutes more until they soften slightly.

3) Just before removing the Brussels sprouts from the heat, toss in a teaspoon of caraway seeds, and season to taste with salt. Serve.
