1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
1 cup finely chopped cooked ham or Canadian bacon
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 cup cooked wild rice
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups Half and Half
1/2 teaspoon salt
Snipped parsley or chives

Directions:
Directions:
Bake crust at 425º for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside. Reduce heat to 325º. In a skillet, saute meat and onion in butter. Spoon into crust. Sprinkle with cheese and wild rice. Mix eggs, Half and Half, and salt. Pour over top. Bake for 1 hour.

May need to cover with foil at the end so the pie crust doesn't burn. A hearty quiche that men like to eat.
