5 strips of bacon fried and crumbled
1/2 cup diced Swiss cheese
1 cup half & half
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 stick of butter (cut into small cubes)


Use a pre cooked pie shell or pre bake a pie shell.


1. Cook bacon til crisp, crumble and place in cooked pie shell.
2 Scatter diced Swiss cheese over bacon.
3.Blend together cream, eggs, salt and nutmeg on high until thoroughly mixed.
4. Pour over bacon and cheese.
5. Dot cubed butter over bacon and cheese.


Bake at 350º for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.

2. Cook bacon till crisp. Crumble cooked bacon and place in cooked shell
.3. Sprinkle cheese over bacon.
4. Put cream, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg in blender. Cover and run on high speed until thoroughly mixed.
5 .Pour over bacon and cheese in shell.
6. Dot with butter and bake at 350º for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.

This is a recipe that I got from a meeting at CL&P when we lived in Danbury, CT. When Carl makes this he usually gets creative with ingredients and makes 3-4 at a time, Delicious for days! Just warm in miocrowave.
