5 strips of bacon fried and crumbled
1/2 cup diced Swiss cheese
1 cup half & half
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 stick of butter

Pre cooked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
1. Crumble bacon over bottom of a pre-cooked pie shell.
2. Cook bacon till crisp. Crumble cooked bacon and place in cooked shell
.3. Sprinkle cheese over bacon.
4. Put cream, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg in blender. Cover and run on high speed until thoroughly mixed.
5 .Pour over bacon and cheese in shell.
6. Dot with butter and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.

This is a recipe that I got from a meeting at CL&P when we lived in Danbury, CT. When Carl makes this he usually gets creative with ingredients and makes 3-4 at a time, Delicious for days! Just warm in miocrowave.
