1 c. water 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules 1 c. sliced mushrooms 3/4 c. instant brown rice 1/2 c. shredded carrots Dash of black pepper 1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions 1 tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
In a medium saucepan stir together water and bouillon granules. Bring to boiling. Stir in mushrooms, uncooked rice, carrot, and black pepper. Return to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered 12 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Add the green onions and parsley.
