6 egg whites
3 cups milk
2 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 cups bran
1/3 cup applesauce (try other fruits too!)
3 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
Place all ingredients in blender (in order) and mix on medium speed until blended (don't mix too much). If you don't have a blender you can do it by hand as well! Use waffle iron to cook.

A recipe to feel good about! My kids love these and I know that they are eating nutritiously especially if the applesauce is home made. The only thing you have to wash is your blender - how easy is that!!??
