1/2 c onion -- chopped
6 T butter
2 T flour
1 8 oz. jar processed cheese spread
1 bunch fresh broccoli(washed and cut into
florets - do not use stems) or 2 packages
frozen broccoli (thawed)
3 eggs -- well beaten
1/2 c. cracker crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onions in 4 T butter.
2. Stir in flour.
3. Add 1/2 cup water, stirring until thickened.
4. Add cheese spread -- blend well.
5. Drain broccoli thoroughly.
6. Combine sauce & broccoli.
7. Add eggs, mixing well.
8. Pour in greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
9. Melt remaining butter and combine with
crumbs.
10. Sprinkle on broccoli.
11. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
