2 baked pie shells
6 egg yolks
2 cup sugar
3 T. Flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook two pie crusts and set aside.

In a mixing bowl beat egg yolks, sugar flour, 1 cup sugar, flour milk and vanilla.

In a large saucepan or skillet, brown 1 cup sugar and butter. Must stir constantly to prevent burning When sugar is brown, carefully add egg mixture, stirring constantly. The carmel sugar will become very hard but will melt as yolk mixture heats and thickens. When very thick pour into the two pie crusts. Cool and serve.
