1 cup rice
1 quart milk
3 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice with 2 cups milk in top of double boiler. Cook over hot water until rice is tender. Beat eggs with sugar and remaining milk. Add raisins. Mix with rice and pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg and dot with butter. Bake in slow oven until done.
