4 c. sugar
1/2 c. instant coffee
3 c. water
1/4 t. salt
2 1/2 c. vodka, 80 proof
3 T. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In 4 qt. saucepan stir sugar and coffee together. Stir in water and salt over high heat until sugar dissolves. Stir until mixture boils. Reduce heat and boil gently 1 hr. Remove, add vodka and vanilla. Stir, cool and pour into bottles. Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
