Jack's Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. Daisy sour cream
2 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
3 T. sugar
1/2 chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 T. milk
1/4 t. almond extract
1/4 t. vanilla extract

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; stir into creamed mixture.

In another bowl, combine cinnamon, sugar and chopped pecans. Grease a tube pan and dust with flour. Pour half of the batter into the pan; sprinkle with half of the nut mixture. Add remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining nut mixture. Bake coffeecake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

Mix butter and powdered sugar, add milk and extracts, drizzle over coffeecake after turned out from the pan and cooled.
