2 c. garbanzo beans, uncooked 5 cloves garlic 3/4 t. salt pinch cayenne pepper 3 T. lemon juice 1/4 c. tahini (1 c. sesame seeds, 1/4 c. oil, pureed-make a paste) 1/4 c. olive oil 1/4 c. reserved cooking liquid
Soak garbanzo beans overnight, then cook until tender. Reserve cooking liquid.
Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Enjoy with pita chips or vegetables. Stores in the refrigerator for weeks. *I add more garlic
