4 1/2 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 t. vanilla
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
3 (6 oz.) packages semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and evaporated milk and boil 9 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat at add vanilla, butter and chocolate chips. Stir until cool, put into buttered 9" x 13" pan and cool until hard.
