"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
This is the sandwich that I took most days when I brought a lunch to work in my lunchbox. It is my favorite sandwich and easy to eat while hunting or fishing. One winter day, Jane and I packed some of these sandwiches for a picnic on the way to the cabin. Jane was about 10. We sat in the truck at a rest stop on Gull Lake in Brainerd. I saw my first snowmobile going across the lake and the next time I went to the cabin, I bought my first Arctic Cat.
