1 C. flour
1 T. sugar
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 C. sour milk (1 C. milk plus 2 T. vinegar)
1 T. melted butter
1 egg
PANCAKE SYRUP:
2/3 C. sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 1/2 C. water
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
1 pinch of salt
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and soda in a large bowl. Add milk, butter and egg to flour mixture. Stir until moistened. Recipe turns out well when cooked on an electric skillet. PANCAKE SYRUP: Combine ingredients in heavy pan and heat.
