Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 c dry bread crumbs
1/8 t pepper
1/4 c minced onion
3/4 c milk
1 t salt
1/2 c grated carrot
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 lb pork sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the eggs, add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Pack into a 5 x 9 inch loaf pan, or shape by hand into a loaf and place in baking pan. Spread with topping made of 1/4 c catsup, 3 T brown sugar, and 2 T prepared mustard. Bake at 300º for 90 to 115 minutes. The low temperature helps keep the loaf from shrinking and the top from burning. The meatloaf may be frozen with good results either before or after baking.
