1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. splenda
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. all-bran
1 c. milk
1 c. applesauce
1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together first seven ingredients. Set aside. Combine all-bran and milk. Let stand for one minute. Add applesauce, oil, eggs and vanilla to cereal mixture. Mix thoroughly and add to dry mixture. Add raisins and or walnuts, if so desired.

Pour into muffin cups. Bake 20 minutes at 400F. Makes 18 muffins.
