1 pkg bean mixture
8 cups water
1 pound ham + ham bone
2 medium carrots, chopped
1 medium onion
1 green pepper
1 stalk celery
1/2 tsp coarse ground peppers
2 Tbsp parsley
1 tsp salt
1 Bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the beans and water overnight. Put 1/2 mixture in blender or food processor until smooth. Put entire mixture in Dutch oven. Add one pound of ham and bone. Add the rest of ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
